Measuring the pulse of BC's charitable sector

Since 2020, the State of BC’s Non-Profit Sector report series has provided an annual, data-driven snapshot of the health of the charitable sector in British Columbia. Drawing on insights from non-profit staff across the province, the reports highlight key trends, ongoing needs, challenges, opportunities and successes shaping the sector.

Grounded in consistent, high-quality data, the series equips funders, policy-makers and sector leaders with the information needed to make informed decisions and support a strong, resilient charitable sector.

This work is led by Vantage Point, in collaboration with Vancouver Foundation, the City of Vancouver
and the Victoria Foundation. Vancity Community Foundation and United Way BC joined the partnership in 2023.
