Georgia was raised on southern Vancouver Island and is grateful to have lived on the traditional and unceded territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən, W̱SÁNEĆ, T’Sou-ke, and Scia’new Peoples. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Geography from the University of Victoria, she worked in volunteer coordination and communications within the non-profit sector before joining the Victoria Foundation. Passionate about the environment and community wellbeing, Georgia enjoys connecting people and ideas to create positive local impact. Outside of work, she can often be found crafting, enjoying the coast or attending community events.
